At The Atlanta Public School, discipline forms the foundation of academic excellence and character building. To ensure a safe, organized, and value-based learning environment, all students are expected to follow the rules and regulations outlined below:

1. Attendance & Punctuality

  • Students must maintain regular attendance and arrive on time for school and all scheduled classes.

  • A minimum attendance requirement must be met to appear for examinations.

  • Leave applications must be submitted in advance and approved by the school authority.

2. School Uniform

  • Students must come to school in the prescribed uniform, neat, clean, and well-presented.

  • Any deviation from the uniform code requires prior permission from the school office.

  • Proper grooming (hair, nails, shoes, etc.) is mandatory.

3. Conduct & Behaviour

  • Students must maintain respectful behavior toward teachers, staff, and fellow students.

  • Bullying, use of abusive language, violence, or any form of misconduct will result in disciplinary action.

  • Students should uphold the values of honesty, courtesy, discipline, and cooperation.

4. Classroom Etiquette

  • Students must bring prescribed books, notebooks, and stationery for all subjects.

  • Talking, disrupting class, or misuse of electronic gadgets is strictly prohibited.

  • Damaging school property or classroom materials will invite penalties.

5. Use of School Property

  • Students must take care of school buildings, furniture, books, sports equipment, and laboratory materials.

  • Any loss or damage must be reported immediately and may require compensation.

6. Mobile Phones & Electronic Devices

  • Mobile phones and digital gadgets are not allowed inside the school premises unless permitted for academic activities.

  • Any unauthorized device will be confiscated.

7. Homework & Academic Responsibility

  • Students must complete assignments, homework, and projects regularly and submit them on time.

  • Academic honesty is expected—cheating or plagiarism in exams or assignments is strictly prohibited.

8. Co-Curricular Participation

  • Students must participate in sports, cultural programs, and extracurricular activities as scheduled by the school.

  • Discipline and sportsmanship must be maintained during all school events.

9. Cleanliness & Hygiene

  • Students should maintain personal hygiene and keep classrooms and campus clean.

  • Littering in the school premises is strictly discouraged.

10. Safety & Security

  • Students must stay within school grounds during school hours unless granted permission by the authority.

  • They should follow instructions during drills, assemblies, and emergency procedures.

11. Communication with Parents

  • Important notices and circulars must be taken home and shown to parents promptly.

  • Parents are encouraged to attend Parent-Teacher Meetings regularly for their child’s progress updates.

12. Respect for Indian Values

  • Students must uphold respect for national symbols, cultural traditions, and moral values.

  • Participation in national festivals, assemblies, and value-based programs is encouraged
